What is Multi-car breakdown cover?

Multi-car breakdown cover lets you cover more than one vehicle at a time, as long as they’re registered at the same address.

With Multi-car cover, drivers can include up to four different cars, EVs, vans, motorbikes or motorhomes, at once. They’ll all be covered with Green Flag, no matter who’s driving them.

What is Family breakdown cover?

Family breakdown cover lets you cover up to three additional members of your household when you’re driving (or travelling) in any car, van, motorbike or motorhome which is under 16 years old and privately registered in the UK.

What’s the difference between Multi-car and Family breakdown cover?

Multi-car breakdown cover covers multiple vehicles at the same address. So, if you’ve got a work car and a runaround, or a car and a motorbike, you can get them all covered on the same policy.

Family breakdown cover, on the other hand, refers to a policy that allows several people to be covered on one policy (provided they all live at the same address). This can include partners, housemates, and family members. Vehicles must be under 16 years old and privately registered in the UK.
