Yes, Green Flag breakdown policies cover flat tyres.

If you have a flat or damaged tyre, we’ll take you to a place of your choice within 10 miles so that the tyre can be repaired or replaced.

Choosing whether personal or vehicle breakdown cover is right for you depends on your driving habits.

Personal cover means you’re covered in any vehicle. So, if you frequently use different vehicles (as a driver or as a passenger), you may want to opt for that.

On the other hand, if you mainly use your own vehicle(s), you may prefer our vehicle cover.

When you get a quote from us, you can choose whichever option is right for you - single vehicle cover, multiple-vehicle cover, or personal cover.

Please note, our personal cover is only for vehicles under 16 years old, privately registered and used in the UK.

With Green Flag, your breakdown cover will start exactly 24 hours after you buy your policy. It’ll then run for 12 months.

If you don’t want your cover to start right away, you can choose a later date.

For the first day of our cover, you’ll only be able to use roadside assistance. Any other cover features you have will apply the following day.

It’s totally up to you.
