As you can imagine, that was pretty satisfying news to hear. And it was all thanks to our incredible network.

That’s why we have a network of independent garages and 3,000 local technicians based all over the country. And only the best can join our network.

So, what makes our team
the best of the best?

The short answer? Checks. A whole lot of checks.

Premises, facilities, vehicles, equipment, technicians – they’re all checked to make sure everything’s of the highest possible standard.

As well as checking for quality, we also complete:

  • Financial health checks.
  • DBS checks.
  • A Public and Employers Liability Insurance check (which must be £5 million or more).
  • Health and safety, employment, environmental, and data protection checks.

So, it’s safe to say we check things very thoroughly. And talking of things that are safe…

Safety is our

We have the certification to prove it. Actually, we have 240 of them.

We have 240 breakdown service providers in our network, and they all have a PAS 43 certification.

“What on Earth’s a PAS 43 certification and why should I care?”

Fair questions. Here’s a quick explanation.

This certification guarantees a company has proper procedures in place to help people quickly, while also protecting customers and technicians as they do their job. Breakdowns can be stressful, scary, and even dangerous – this helps minimise risk and keeps everyone safe.

Not every breakdown company has this certification, but we think it’s crucial. So, it’s a must-have to join our network.

Maintaining our standards, all year round.

That’s right, the checks aren’t over yet.

We have a dedicated team of Network Controllers who keep track of how well our service providers are performing. They make sure they’re always on top of their game, 24/7.

They keep an eye on:

  • How fast a service provider responds to a rescue request.
  • How quickly they get to our customers.
  • How often they stick to their estimated arrival time.
  • Customer satisfaction levels.
  • The number of complaints they get (if any) and how they deal with them.

These checks take a lot of time and a great deal of effort, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
