Website Accessibility Features
We have introduced many features to make the Green Flag website accessible to as many users as possible. This page explains what they are and how to use them.
If you still experience any problems accessing this website, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, use our minicom line on 0800 800 610 or call us using the relevant number on our contact us page.
The site is built to allow you to make all text bigger or smaller if your browser allows it. In Internet Explorer or Firefox, text sizing is available in the 'View' menu then the 'Text Size' menu. In Mozilla or Netscape, through the 'View' menu then the 'Text Zoom' menu. In Opera, use the 'View' menu then the 'Zoom menu'.
The site has been thoroughly tested in all modern browsers on Windows, MacOS and Linux. It is also built to "degrade gracefully" in older browsers. This means it may not look the same, but all the information in the site will still be accessible. We are always looking to improve the site, so if you encounter any problems please contact us to let us know at email@example.com.
Built to standards
We aim to make the site as accessible as possible to everyone. It has been designed with full consideration of the the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of their Web Accessibility Initiative. Our aim is to achieve the highest standards possible across the site.
The only exceptions to this statement occur on the Route Planner pages, where a Third Party Service has control over the content, and the Quote and Buy function which is currently compliant with the required WCAG 'A' standard, with our goal being to become compliant to WCAG 'Double-A' accessibility standard level. If you encounter any problems in these areas of the Green Flag site please contact us to let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
