Health Checks – Frequently asked questions

  1. What is a Green Flag Health-Check?

    There are a few simple things you can do to make sure your car keeps running smoothly – for example, checking the oil and topping up the water – but searching the owner’s manual to find out how to do it can feel like picking a fight with the world’s most boring colouring-in book. At a Green Flag Health-Check, a Green Flag technician will be on hand to check your car and give you advice on a range of topics, including how to avoid breaking down.
  2. How long does a Health-Check take?

    A Health-Check takes around 5 – 10 minutes. It doesn't take long for the Green Flag team to check if your vehicle is in running order.
  3. Do I need to be a Green Flag member to be eligible for a Health-Check?

    You do not need to be a Green Flag member. Simply come down on the day and the next available technician will see you.
  4. Do I need my driving license on me to have it done?

    No. Simply show up and we will be able to carry out a Health-Check.
  5. Is it one vehicle per family?

    If your family own more than one vehicle please feel free to bring them. We can make sure the whole family is covered.
