Five members of a rogue clamping firm accused of "milking" the public out of £500,000 have been jailed.
The company used car owners "as a licence to print money", Worcester Crown Court heard.
Andrew Minshull, described as the "main man" of the company was given a sentence of 32 months, and his former partner Debbie Worton, deemed the "public face of the company", was given 12 months in jail.
Simon Barry, who clamped cars and was in contact with landowners, was given 21 months and Christopher Cartwright and Faisal Qadeer, who both clamped vehicles, were each given 15 month jail terms.
Judge Cavell said the Redditch-based Midland Parking Contracts, owned by Minshull, repeatedly targeted vulnerable members of society.
Minshull, 38, of Hatfield Close, Redditch; Worton, 43, of Longdon Close, Redditch; Barry, 38, of Lilac Close, Evesham; Cartwright, 31, of Salisbury Drive, Kidderminster; and Qadeer, 35, of Mount Pleasant, Redditch, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud in January.
