Kia Motors has introduced a new scheme offering owners of cars over seven years old an opportunity to trade in for a latest model.

Under the new '7 Year Switch Plan', owners of older vehicles could save up to £2,000 off the list price as well as enjoy a seven-year warranty.

They can get a discount of £1,500 on a new Picanto Rio or a B-segment MPV Venga, while saving £2,000 on a Ceed or Soul.

To be able to benefit from the new scheme, vehicles must be between seven and 10 years old and they must have a valid MOT certificate. Also the vehicles must have been owned for at least six months.

Michael Cole, managing director of Kia Motors, said: "Once again we're giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia.

"We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe - seven years and 100,000 miles."
