Ferrari is launching an apprentice programme

Ferrari has announced an investment of more than £350,000 in a new apprentice programme it is launching in Europe this year.

The Ferrari North Europe Apprentice Programme will offer specialised training to school leavers in Ferrari's technology and the maintenance of its range of cars.

Apprentices enrolled for the three-year programme will receive in-house and in-dealer training, including a 24-week specialised module at the head offices of Ferrari North Europe.

Organised in partnership with the Official Ferrari Dealer Network, the programme will lead to nationally recognised qualifications accredited by IMI Awards.

Matteo Torre, Regional Manager Ferrari North Europe, said: "This project is part of the Ferrari philosophy of investing in young talent."

Ferrari is inviting school leavers aged 16 and over to apply for the programme by sending their interest to apprenticeships@ferrari.com.

Applicants will be contacted after April 1 and selected candidates will undergo an aptitude test and a two-hour interview. The training programme is scheduled to commence in September 2011.
