Fast Car honours Continental tyre

This year's awards issue of the modified car magazine Fast Car has honoured Continental tyre for its emphasis on safety.

The firm manufactures original fitment tyres for top-end rides like AMG Mercs, Audi's R8 and even Ferrari.

Highly commending Continental tyres, the judges said that the wet weather performance of the tyres is the best they have tested, while their rubber also "looks top-notch".

Tracey Hyem, brand manager at Continental, said, "Continental is no stranger to awards and we are really pleased to add to this collection with the sought after Fast Car honour. Wet weather safety is always our main focus when designing a tyre so to be recognised specifically for this is great."
