German car maker Audi has pulled the wraps off its new R8 Roadster at this year's Geneva Motor Show, flaunting a 5.2-litre, 525-horsepower engine.
The much-awaited car, a drop-top version of the popular R8 coupe, is expected to be available for customers in the UK shortly.
The manual car will cost £111,995, while the R-tronic semi-automatic gearbox version will come with a price tag of £117,155.
Meanwhile, Audi also presented its new premium compact hatch, the A1.
The car will be available in three and five-door versions, and has been seen as a challenger to the likes of BMW's Mini.
Another Audi car unveiled at the 80th motor event was the A1 e-tron, which followed the firm's recently launched R8-based "e-tron" electric hybrid concept.
The eco-friendly car sports a 31-mile range in the city when driven in electric mode, while a compact engine helps to replenish the battery system when it is exhausted. Emissions are rated at 45g/km and average economy at 149mpg.
