How can I be located via the app?
With your permission, the app has the capability to identify your location via GPS. This can then be displayed via an on-screen map showing your location and the surrounding areas. In the event that you breakdown, this can be a useful tool to enable you to identify your location. You can pass this location information to Green Flag when you call us for roadside assistance, this will assist the Green Flag recovery agent in finding you quickly and easily.
By downloading the app, am I signing-up to anything?
No. You will not be charged nor will you be giving consent to marketing rights.
Who can download the app?
Anyone. The app is available to all whether you are an existing Green Flag customer who arranged their cover direct or through one of our partners, or any motorist wanting to benefit from this all in one easy-to-use package.
Do I still need to talk to an operator?
Yes, the app will still connect you, over the phone, to a Green Flag Rapid Breakdown Cover customer service adviser. The adviser will deal with any enquiry you have regarding the product. If you require breakdown assistance the adviser will confirm your location and arrange for a breakdown specialist to come out and assist you at the roadside.
