When it’s time to renew your policy, make sure to ask these questions of your breakdown cover provider.
Are you getting the best from your Green Flag rapid breakdown cover? Ensure you get the best deal by asking these pertinent questions:
Why should I renew with Green Flag?
Not only is Green Flag breakdown cover competitively priced, we also provide tailored cover to suit your individual circumstances. Our five cover levels are: Rescue, Rescue Plus, Recovery, Recovery Plus and Euro Plus.
Each of these automatically includes 24-hour roadside assistance, 365 days a year; a national network of breakdown specialists for local vehicle recovery – if we can’t fix your car at the roadside, we’ll take it to the nearest garage (within 10 miles); no callout charge; and a free message service to friends and family so they know what’s happened. Our average response time is 30 minutes and we fix 86% of our customers’ cars at the roadside (data based on 925,842 nationwide call-outs May 09 - April 10).
Do you have my new details?
If you’ve changed your vehicle or address then you need to let us know so we can change your policy on renewal. And remember, we cover the vehicle rather than the driver, so if someone else is now driving your vehicle with your permission, they’ll be automatically covered on your policy.
Do you cover driving in Europe?
If you’re heading for the continent, Green Flag offers European breakdown cover – ask about upgrading to our Euro Plus policy. In addition to comprehensive UK cover it gives you 90 days of European breakdown cover (for vehicles less than 16 years old).
Do you do home callouts?
We can cover callouts at home as well as at the roadside – cars can break down there too. For this service, ask about our Rescue Plus, Recovery Plus or Euro Plus policy.
What if my car can’t be fixed straight away?
Green Flag also provides a range of options to cover you if we can’t fix your car immediately. These include: long distance recovery where we’ll take you and your car home or to your preferred location (with Recovery, Recovery Plus and Euro Plus); and a hire car, the cost of alternative transport or accommodation, or cash to collect your car (with Recovery Plus and Euro Plus).
If you have any amendments or upgrades you’d like to make, based on the questions above, remember to get in touch with us before your renewal date.
